The capital city Taipei is located north of the island, offering a host of sightseeing tours. The city has its origins from the three words that were once imprinted on cheap gadgets, toys and textiles. The city has much to offer with over 15,000 temples, many of which open to the visitors. Also its numerous museums such as the National Palace Museum, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taiwan Design Museum are just a few.
With its many restaurants and eating establishments Taiwan offer some fine cuisine and fine hotels.
